This is where Jan and I vacationed with my brother's family this summer. This is an view of Crystal Beach. I spent many of my high school and college days on this beach. The house we stayed in this summer is no longer there. Most of the homes are now gone.

Wow! Never been through a hurricane even with us living in Florida, but it always surprises me how much destruction it causes. Water looks so harmless out in the ocean and at the beach, but it never ceases to amaze me on how powerful it really is.
